It is an unusual circus apparatus: a mobilé made of metal rods, ropes and gray granite stones. In it the search for balance and the encounter between gravity and weightlessness are visualised. In Permeable Bodies, the installation slowly grows together over the course of the piece, with the individual parts being examined for their properties and treated with particular care and attention as encounter partners for the two performers. Underlaying is the question of a new valence of things in an anthropocentric world that is heading towards its own destruction through overconsumption and mass production. What if we were more mindful of ourselves? With the people around us, with animals and even with things? What if we were more permeable?
